Post Specification

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and be fully responsible for the preparation, establishment, and subsequent daily operations of the University-City Campus Office;

2. Coordinate and integrate resources from various stakeholders; be responsible for administrative affairs including project planning, event organization, progress management, and budget execution;

3. Lead and coordinate campus-wide student affairs, advance student support and development initiatives, and ensure effective alignment with the University’s central Student Affairs office;

4. Serve as the primary external liaison for the Campus, maintaining productive collaborative relationships with government bodies and other universities in the Campus to explore and secure new cooperative opportunities and resources;

5. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements:                               

1. Master’s degree or above with excellent academic performance;

2. At least 10 years of post-qualification administrative or relevant experience;

3. Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese;

4. Proven leadership, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills;

5. A track record of successfully developing and implementing new initiatives;

6. Substantial experience in organizing events and developing external relations;

7. Ability to work independently and efficiently lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
